Brendan Guilfoyle and Chris White of The P&A Partnership, who were yesterday (June 22) appointed joint administrators of Haldanes Stores Limited and Ruston Retail Limited, have set up online support for staff made redundant.
Twenty three out of 26 stores in Scotland and England were closed and 600 employees made redundant prior to the appointment of the administrators.
Brendan Guilfoyle said, “Our priority is to provide support for former employees. This new website will give them guidance and advice on entitlements, including how to make claims to the Redundancy Payments Office.”
P&A’s website to help staff is http://www.insolvency4employees.co.uk/
Three stores in Tattershall, Wigton and Crieff remain open and are trading.
Brendan Guilfoyle confirmed that Haldane Retail Group Limited, UGO Stores Limited, Haldanes Express Limited and Bakery Products Limited are unaffected by the administration and are trading as usual.
