The other day I sat on a train and watched a masterclass in how to build relations and win business using LinkedIn.

Two mates were going to a rock concert in Maidenhead.  They both had businesses – a surveying business and commercial floor laying.  The floor business chap said he needed to find more freelance floor layers. So while they were chatting, the other friend got on his iPad, set up an account for the friend and started reaching out to floor layers.  By the end of the train journey 18 had already come back and he was starting a relationship with them.
