P&A Receivables Services Plc has appointed Kate Robbins to help manage and grow its successful industry credit forums, which support international and UK businesses.
Kate has spent the last 15 years working as a solicitor in the East Midlands and joins P&A from Nottingham law firm Roythornes where she was an associate, heading up their debt recovery team.
Laurie Beagle, divisional director of P&A Receivables Services Plc, who founded and chairs the credit forums, said: “Kate has a real understanding of credit and debt issues facing a range of sectors and is well known within the industry. With her legal eye she will bring fresh ideas, new contacts and a different perspective to our credit forums.
“P&A is expanding its credit forums from 11 in response to the challenges and risks facing businesses trading internationally in difficult economic times, particularly with the impact of the Euro Zone crisis.”
Kate is chair of the East Midlands branch of the Institute of Credit Management (ICM), and a recent past president of Nottingham City Business Club.
P&A Receivables Services Plc is a division of The P&A Group of Companies, one of the largest independent insolvency and debt collection firms in the country, acting for multinational PLCs and financial institutions as well as accountants, solicitors and business advisors across the UK and Europe.
