Bradford University School of Management has this week had its distance learning MBA ranked 11th in the world by the Financial Times.
The rankings measure 21 factors. Within these, Bradford was ranked number one globally for the career progression of its alumni, third for its MBA value for money and ranked fourth for its careers service.
Those who went on a Bradford MBA saw their salaries rise by 30 per cent after graduating and gave the business school a 100 per cent score for its online teaching materials.
Jon Reast, dean at Bradford University School of Management said: “We ensure MBA students receive the same quality of teaching and support regardless of where they are in the world or how they are studying.
“The online virtual learning environment used by our distance learning students means students have the flexibility to study at a time, place and pace which suits their individual needs. At the same time the individual tutor support, live online tutorials, discussion forums, career workshops and guest presentations mean that our distance learning students never feel like they are studying alone.”
Jon Reast explained that the business school had structured the MBA on a global campus basis so that the same modules run at the same time in numerous locations across the world. He added that in practical terms this means: “Anyone taking the distance learning MBA can attend up to three modules taught over an intense 3 to 5 day period at one of our campuses in various locations including Dubai, Singapore and of course Bradford. This enables students from the various MBA programmes and differing cultural and business backgrounds to meet up and exchange ideas and experiences.”
Bradford University School of Management is one of only 59 business schools in the world to be awarded the elite ‘Triple Crown’ with kitemark accreditations from AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) and AMBA (the Association of MBAs).
