International recognition for luxury Leeds business

Residence 6* , the luxury serviced apartments in the centre of Leeds has this month received two top awards for its outstanding customer service.

Booking.com presented Residence 6* with an award  for achieving an average 9.2 score, which was the highest in Leeds.  The score was described as ‘awesome’ by Booking.com.

And Trip Advisor said:  “This prestigious award places Residence 6* in the top performing 10% of all businesses worldwide on Trip Advisor.  The award is given to businesses that consistently earn high ratings from Trip Advisor travellers.”

Residence 6*, based in the Old Post Office building opposite Leeds Station, has 23 contemporary apartments.  Customers include chief executives, barristers and legal teams, actors and actresses, honeymooners and leisure visitors.  Many create a ‘home from home’ with their belongings which are stored in between visits.  When they walk back in, everything is placed exactly as they left it.

Vikki Baker, general manager of Residence 6* which runs the apartments, said:  “This is all about our fantastic team delivering extraordinary service.  We make it happen for our customers, without fuss or nonsense. 

“We have an amazing black book. Tom Ford and The Harvey Nichols Teams are on hand to dress our clients at the drop of a hat. We provide room service from The Restaurant Bar and Grill, have chefs on hand to cook and top beauticians and hairdressers at a moment’s notice. We also do bespoke shopping, so groceries are ready on arrival and can be anything from Waitrose to Aldi.”

Vikki Baker added that they thrive on making visits special:  “We had a wedding party staying with us and the bridesmaid’s car failed to arrive on time.  One of our contractors and I drove them to the town hall ourselves.”

The building had a £5m refurbishment in 2005 and opened in 2006.  The apartments have 95% occupancy rate, with very high repeat bookings.
