The world is watching you. Whether you like it or not every aspect of your life is being played out in the full glare of Google and online reputation management should be a key consideration for every business and individual.
The next Northern Lights workshop will look at maintaining a positive image online and will offer expert guidance on how to control what Google says about you. The workshop has already proved very popular and there are just a few places remaining.
Unfortunately many organisations and individuals will have fallen foul of negative comments or publicity online and quite often they are malicious. This workshop will help delegates to understand how they can overcome the negative content online, respond and embrace any criticism and develop a strategy for controlling what content appears on page one of Google.
Looking at how to monitor what is being said about you, the power of quality content, the risks associated with social media and how to tackle bad reviews and negative comments, this workshop is a must for anyone concerned with maintaining a professional image online.
Taking place at Northern Ballet in Leeds on November 20, the highly-interactive three-hour session will feature examples of how brands have fallen foul of negative online publicity, how they have responded and the lessons to be learned from others mistakes.
Most importantly, everyone at the session will get expert guidance and help for managing their own online reputation and will get a clear personal strategy on how to improve their profile and then use the power of Google to win new business or secure new positions.
The workshop will be led by Northern Lights communications director Ben Pindar who says: “Our series of social media workshops have proved to be hugely popular and we are now looking at the bigger picture.
“This workshop will look at what the web already knows about you and how you can improve your image and overall rankings.
“Crucially, we will also help you to develop clear strategies on how to combat negative reviews and comments and equip you with the skills you need to turn them into new opportunities.”
The workshops run from 9.30am to 12.30pm and cost £65. Places at the event are limited. To book a place, email sandy@northernlightspr.com or call 01423 562400.
