One of the world’s oldest and most prestigious business schools is offering six MBA scholarships for just £2000 each to celebrate its 50th anniversary next academic year. These are all for students studying in the UK, though modules can be taken through its global campus in Dubai in UAE, Manila in the Philippines, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Bradford University School of Management is offering three full-time MBA scholarships; including one for the accelerated MBA – completed in just ten months; and three places for the two year part-time MBA which executives complete while working.
The business school is leading thinking around the circular economy and the ‘new industrial revolution’, working with the Ellen McArthur Foundation and businesses such as B&Q, Renault, Cisco, BT and National Grid to create business models for the future. These will address scarce resources – particularly energy – innovation and adaptation as well as the opportunities that new technology bring.
Applicants for the scholarships have to write a 600 word blog on the challenges management face in developing new business models around the principles of the circular economy.
Jon Reast, acting dean at the School, said: “These scholarships are a rare opportunity for any experienced manager wanting an MBA but struggling to afford it.
“Next year is our 50th anniversary and will probably be the most exciting year to do an MBA at our School. We are contacting alumni from all over the world to engage with our campaign around the new industrial revolution as well as leading global corporates. The opportunities to meet and talk to world leaders on these topics will be fantastic.”
Further scholarships are available for overseas students and 15 per cent discounts for all qualifying alumni.
Bradford University School of Management has the ‘triple crown’ accreditation from EQUIS, AMBA and AACSB, putting it in the world elite of just 58 top business schools.
