The P&A Group of Companies  is continuing to grow its P&A Receivables Services PLC  with the appointment of Paul Leary as divisional director of its banking and financial arm.

His appointment strengthens the team helping banks, independent funders and invoice finance companies to recover debts and assets when businesses fail.

Jeremy Priestley, managing partner of The P&A Group of Companies, said: “In a challenging market we feel that Paul’s background in banking will bring new skills and added value to our clients.  He understands asset based lending from all angles – both from the lenders’ perspective and from a recovery point of view.”

The P&A Group of Companies, one of the largest independent insolvency and debt collection firms in the country, acts for multinational PLCs and financial institutions as well as accountants, solicitors and business advisors across the UK and Europe.

Leeds-born Mr Leary is a keen runner – having completed the London Marathon three times.
