Talking to your partner about boredom in retirement image

If you’ve worked a five-day week (and in many cases much more) for the last 40+ years, suddenly going to an unstructured lifestyle can be a jolt, to say the least. Too often, the reality is that individuals experience boredom in retirement.

This lack of structure leaves many directionless. But it can be difficult to have this conversation with a partner or loved one. After all, how do you tell someone you think they are lacking purpose or focus in their life?
