The cooking school, in Halifax, is holding its first ever school holiday cooking courses for nine-to-12 year-olds. Two half-day sessions will run on Wednesday, June 1.

Not only will the children be learning valuable cooking skills from qualified staff but they will be bringing home the results of their work – so at least one holiday meal will be produced.

All the ingredients will be provided and there will be drinks and biscuits to keep the young chefs going.

Plus, the Dean Clough-based Cooking School will provide takeaway packs for all the food the children make so they can take it home with pride to enjoy.

The event takes place from 9am – 12.30pm and 2pm – 5.30pm and costs £45 per child, per session with a discount price for a second child of £30.

Proceeds go back into the not-for-profit organisation.
